Iconium Leather Works Pvt. Ltd., is a family-founded company which has specialised the art & science of leather making – based in Southern part of India near Chennai. Promoted under the distinguished Taurus Tannery banner, the firm has been serving clients for decades – with Bhuvan Kumar carrying the acquired knowledge. These learnings have not only given us the insights of the leather making processes, but along so we have systematically archived the learnings to develop expertise in – Calf, Kips & Cow. Having passed the tests for three generations in customer service, we are now established as modern professional tanners which has added accreditations ranging from ISO certification, SATRA training to LWG Gold status.

Our joint venture with Sara Suole Pvt. Ltd. formed by Kayum Dhanani, has catapulted us to be ranked amongst the top tanners, apart from acquiring the Value Systems of one of the fastest growing & nimble footed group. The tannery has a capacity to produce a million-square foot of leather per month catering to – Classic & Fashion range. Years of experience in serving the clients including leading brands has helped us carve our path to expand; and we plan to expand to global markets by reaching out to Customers and have our representative offices in countries with strategic geographical importance.

Our tannery specializes in manufacturing finished leather and leather products that cater to diverse needs of varied customers. We have the capability to convert raw leather into finished one with fineness meeting stringent norms. Our ability to meet global standards, allows us to position our products to be amongst the leading Finished Leathers by having strategically adopting a path to offer differentiated products - Leather in terms of quality, touch, feel, color & so on.

Iconium has grown to become the preferred partner and valued supplier of leathers to major businesses across including International brands.

Though we have diversified processes to produce leathers in Cow, Buff & Goat - our niche remains with Leathers made in Calf, Kips & Cow. With advances made, we have forayed with same as passion as done for Calf & Kips to make Buff as another mainstay of our product range.
